Technical and Historical Notes

The GN-001REIV Gundam Exia Repair IV was a close combat mobile suit developed and operated by Celestial Being. It was an upgraded version of the earlier GN-001REIII Gundam Exia Repair III. Compared to the loadout of the previous version, its armaments included GN Vulcan Guns, a GN Tachi, GN Bayonets that doubled as swords and rifles, and a GN Shield fitted with pairs of GN Battle Swords and GN Battle Blades. This weapon was similar to the GN Shield used by the GNT-0000 00 Qan[T], although it had no bit functions. At the end of the conflict with the ELS in 2314, Graham Aker’s life was saved thanks to partial assimilation with the aliens. As new conflicts emerged after the ELS incident, Setsuna F. Seiei recruited Graham to join Celestial Being and pilot the Gundam Exia Repair IV.
