The GN-004/te-A02 Gundam Nadleeh Akwos was a special equipment version of the GN-004 Gundam Nadleeh. The name Nadleeh was a Navajo spirit, and the word Akwos meant “head” in the Navajo language. The Trial Enhancing Akwos Unit 2 equipment was designed to improve the effective range of the Gundam Nadleeh’s Trial System, which allowed an authorized user to take control of any Veda-linked mobile suit. The Gundam Nadleeh usually entered combat under heavy armor as the GN-005 Gundam Virtue, but the Nadleeh Akwos was intended to operate on its own and was fitted with additional parts to strengthen its armor and propulsion capabilities. Fin-like attachments on the limbs called the Trial Blade Antennae expanded the effective range of the Trial System, but had no offensive/defensive function. Their base was moveable, which allowed them to move in the direction where the expansion of the Trial System’s range was needed. The GN Mask Sword was a weapon with control functions for the Trial System. When attached to the GN Shield and mounted on the back, the blade of the sword split in two and the Gundam mask opened up. In this form, the Trial System’s effective range could be expanded to its maximum limit. Due to the Innovators seizing control of Veda in 2308, the Trial System became useless, and the Akwos equipment was never used in battle. After the fall of Celestial Being, the support group Fereshte recovered the Akwos equipment from a secret Celestial Being asteroid base.
