The GN-9999 Transient Gundam was a custom Gunpla built by Wilfrid Kijima of team Celestial Sphere. It was an original unit inspired by Celestial Being’s Gundams from the 2007-09 anime TV series Mobile Suit Gundam 00. The Transient Gundam was equipped with a defensive GN Field and could utilize the Transient Burst, which generated energy wings and temporarily increased performance. Its armaments included a pair of GN Vulcan Guns/Beam Sabers and two GN Partisan spears, which could also function as remote lance bits. During the final battle of the 13th Gunpla Battle Japanese U-19 Championship, Celestial Sphere engaged in a difficult battle that was ultimately won by team Try Fighters. The Transient Gundam later served as the inspiration for another fighter’s unit, the GN-10000 Transient Gundam Glacier.
