The GNMA-XCVII Alvatore was a mobile armor designed to dock with the GNMS-XCVII Alvaaron. Developed in secret by Alejandro Corner, the two units were part of his plan to seize control of Celestial Being. The Alvatore’s large beam cannon was powered by seven GN Drive Taus, and its firing angle could be altered thanks to a flexible neck. The Alvatore was also armed with 22 smaller beam cannons and six large fangs, extendable claw-like arms and the Alvaaron’s GN Beam Rifles. The Alvatore’s GN Drive Taus also allowed it to generate a GN Field. The Alvatore made its combat debut in 2308 as part of an attack force that destroyed the Ptolemaios and killed several of its crew. Despite the power of the Alvatore, it fell in battle to the combined forces of Setsuna F. Seiei and Lasse Aeon in the GNR-001E GN Arms Type-E.
