Gundam Evolve 12: RMS-099 Rick Dias

In UC 0087, Char conducts a combat simulation with his Rick Dias. The color of his suit gets changed to red, but he doesn’t mind. He easily destroys the other Rick Diases, as well as the Gundam Mk-II. He asks if that’s all there is, but then the next opponent appears: his old red Zaku II from the One Year War. The Zaku attacks with its heat hawk and dodges Char’s shots. It then comes in close and slices apart his clay bazooka before stabbing his head. Out of anger, Char fires live rounds near the Argama. Later, Astonaige Medoz apologizes and tells Char that a rookie got too excited and loaded that data into the simulation. Char lectures Astonaige that an old suit from the One Year War couldn’t possibly beat a new suit. Char thinks there’s a flaw in the data, but Astonaige tells him it’s the proper data for that Zaku. He then asks Char if he wants to have the Hyaku-Shiki painted red, and Char answers that he’ll think about it. Later, Char has a drink in a bar with a drunk woman who talks about how men fought over her during the war. A drunk man bursts into the bar and says he’s the Red Comet. Char reaches for his gun, but the drunk runs away. The drunk woman tells Char that she knows who he really is, and he puts a jacket around her shoulders after she falls asleep. Later, Char conducts his first flight with the Hyaku-Shiki, and Astonaige asks him not to use live rounds this time. The rookie tells Char he has an interesting opponent this time, and Char tells him to do as he wishes. When Char sees that the opponent is Amuro Ray’s Gundam, he thinks to himself that this will be interesting.
