The LGZ-91St Lightning Gundam Strider was a custom Gunpla built by Try Fighters member Yuuma Kousaka. It was the third iteration of his LGZ-91 Lightning Gundam and incorporated the new Lightning Back Weapon System Mk-III. The LBWS Mk-III was inspired by the wings of the AGE-2 Gundam AGE-2 Normal from the 2011-12 anime TV series Mobile Suit Gundam AGE. When combined with the LBWS Mk-III, the Strider could operate in a high speed waverider mode. The Strider’s armaments were similar to its previous version, the LGZ-91Fb Lightning Gundam Full Burnern. New armaments included a custom rifle and four beam guns/sabers mounted on the LBWS Mk-III. The LBWS Mk-III could mount the custom rifle and operate as a separate support unit. Yuuma used the Lightning Gundam Strider in the 14th Gunpla Battle Japanese U-19 Championship.
