Macross FB7 is a one-shot OVA released in Japan in 2012. It was created as a crossover between the 2008 TV series Macross Frontier and the 1994 TV series Macross 7 to celebrate the franchise’s 30th anniversary. Directed and written by Tetsuro Amino, the story is set in 2059 and features some of the cast of Macross Frontier watching a series of mysteriously delivered VHS tapes that tell the story of Macross 7. The OVA has not been officially released in English.
