The MS-08TX/S Efreet Schneid was a heavily customized version of the MS-08TX Efreet that was fielded by the Principality of Zeon during the One Year War in UC 0079. The suit was named in memory of its original pilot, Doug Schneid, a member of Zeon’s Marchosias team. The Efreet Schneid survived the war and was continuously upgraded by Zeon remnants through UC 0096. The fixed armaments from the original Efreet were removed and replaced with 14 heat darts stored all across the suit’s body. The Efreet Schneid could also use handheld weapons such as a shotgun and giant bazooka. The Efreet Schneid participated in a Zeon remnants attack on Australia’s Torrington Base in UC 0096. Thanks to its improved performance, it was able to hold its own against the EFF’s outdated mobile suits.
