The MSJ-06II-ET Tieren Space Commander Type was a variant of the standard space unit, the MSJ-06II-E. The Commander Type’s basic performance was similar to the standard type, but it did have improved communication and data processing capabilities. The head featured an additional sensor that improved data gathering capability. The shoulder-mounted movable shields also served as large antenna. Besides communication, they also contained other functions like composite radar that were critical for a commander. HRL mobile suit forces operated with three teams of three led by one commander unit.
