The MSM-03-1 Prototype Gogg was one of the Principality of Zeon’s early attempts at creating an aquatic mobile suit for battles in the Earth’s oceans. Based on the data acquired through the MS-06M Zaku Marine Type, which was redesigned as an amphibious mobile suit. In order to help with travel through the water, the unevenness in the body was reduced and the armaments incorporated into the body. These armaments included two diffuse mega particle cannons which could be used with the improved cooling system. The Prototype Gogg could also be armed with optional hand torpedo pods. The suit’s design was further refined for the mass production version, the MSM-03 Gogg.
