The RGM-122 Javelin Early Type was a limited run of units that preceded the regular mass production of the Earth Federation Forces’ RGM-122 Javelin. The Early Types were manufactured on the same production lines as the RGM-119 Jamesgun and consequently shared multiple parts. Following the discontinuation of production on the Jamesgun, regular Javelin units featured all new parts. The Early Type’s armaments included vulcan guns, beam sabers, a beam shield and a pair of shot lancers.
