During the Bloody Valentine War, ZAFT created the aquatic use UWMF/S-1 GINN WASP Type. Designed as a search and coastal base attack unit, the GINN WASP Type was deployed across Earth’s oceans. After the war, ZAFT produced a custom version with improved Lorenzini sensors. During the Second Bloody Valentine War in late C.E. 73, this upgraded version was used during ZAFT’s attack on the Earth Alliance headquarters Heavens Base in Iceland.
