The XB-70 Valkyrie was a replica of a 20th century prototype bomber of the same name created by aerospace manufacturer North American Aviation. The original Valkyrie was capable of reaching speeds exceeding Mach 3.0 at an altitude of 21,000 meters. In May UC 0087, Karaba leader Hayato Kobayashi used a Valkyrie replica to guide the AEUG’s seized Audhumla plane to safety after escaping from a nuclear bomb detonation at the Titans’ Jaburo base. The Valkyrie was one of several replica craft stored by Hayato at the Kennedy Spaceport in Florida.
