The YAMS-132 Rozen Zulu was a prototype mobile suit piloted by Angelo Sauper that was based on the AMS-129 Geara Zulu and using parts from the MSN-06S Sinanju. It incorporated the quasi-psycommu system and wire-guided weapons concept first used by the AMX-103 Hamma-Hamma during the First Neo Zeon War in UC 0088. The quasi-psycommu system, seen as early as UC 0083, allowed regular pilots to make the same type of all-range attacks as Newtypes. The Rozen Zulu’s arms were equipped with 3-barrel mega particle cannons that could operate as incoms. It also carried a shield that mounted another 3-barrel mega particle cannon and an I-field generator. The Rozen Zulu featured innovative psycho-jammers, which could disrupt an enemy mobile suit’s connection to psycommu weaponry. The psycho-jammers could also generate a psycho field to envelop and capture an enemy suit. These functions were developed specifically to serve as a counter against Banagher Links’ RX-0 Unicorn Gundam. Near the end of the Laplace Incident of UC 0096, a temporary alliance between Full Frontal’s Neo Zeon and the Londo Bell ship Nahel Argama fell apart, resulting in a mobile suit battle in the ship’s hangar. The Rozen Zulu lost part of its right arm while escaping from the ship, and the arm was replaced with a wired shield unit that mounted a 3-barrel mega particle cannon and an I-field generator. Angelo used his psycho-jammers to briefly contain Banagher, but he eventually lost to the Unicorn Gundam.
