The Barracuda was a small gunboat used by the Hatte Defense Force at Side 2. It was about half the size of the Earth Federation Forces’ Salamis class cruiser and featured similar armaments. Propulsion nozzles mounted on both ends of the ship allowed it to both advance and retreat at the same speed. The Barracuda was used for security missions around colonies, but it was no match for the overwhelming force displayed by the Principality of Zeon at the start of the One Year War.
