The CEK-040 Beguir-Beu was an anti-GUND Format mobile suit manufactured by Grassley Defense Systems. All the latest technologies were incorporated into this high performance CE Line suit, which featured a flight unit with large multi-sensors and detachable central booster pack. Its standard armaments included two foot claws and two bayonets with beam guns and detachable swords. It was also equipped with a pair of wire-guided non-kinetic pods that could launch “Antidote” attacks that interfered with GUND Format mobile suits operating on a Permet score level of three or lower. In the Vanadis Incident in A.S. 101, a Dominicus special forces team assaulted the asteroid Fólkvangr under orders from the Mobile Suit Development Council to eliminate anyone connected to banned GUND Format technology. Ace pilot Kenanji Avery used the Beguir-Beu in combat against the Vanadis Institute’s XGF-01 Gundam Lfrith Pre-Production Model. Two variants were also produced – the CEK-043LBK Beguir-Beu Torsh (Kenanji Platoon) and CEK-043LBR Beguir-Beu Torsh (Ridric Platoon). By A.S. 122, the Beguir-Beu was succeeded by the more advanced CEK-077 Beguir-Pente.
