The GN-003 Gundam Kyrios was a third generation transforming mobile suit based on the earlier GNY-003 Gundam Abulhool. Unlike its predecessor’s crude transformation, the Gundam Kyrios could fully switch between its mobile suit and flight modes. As an air attack unit, the transformed Gundam Kyrios had more maneuverability than the latest transforming Union and AEU suits due to the properties of GN particles. The use of GN particles helped with the suit’s transformation ability, whereas Union and AEU suits relied more on the pilot’s skill. In its flight mode, the Gundam Kyrios could carry a tail unit or tail booster, depending on the mission. The Gundam’s main weapon was a GN Beam Submachine Gun, which was designed to maintain accuracy even under high speed movement. Its power was slightly weaker than the rifles used by other Gundams, but it compensated for this weakness with a high firing rate.

The suit was also equipped with a pair of GN Beam Sabers and could optionally carry a hand missile unit with nine GN Missiles. The GN Shield was slimmer than other shields to be more aerodynamic and could be used as a claw for pincer attacks. Like the other Gundams, the Gundam Kyrios could use the Trans-Am System and release highly compressed GN particles for increased speed and combat capability. The Gundam Kyrios’ Meister was Allelujah Haptism, a survivor of the Human Reform League’s illegal super soldier experiments. When exposed to quantum brain waves, the split personality Hallelujah and his murderous streak took over. In 2308, the Gundam Kyrios was heavily damaged while fighting a team from the United Nations. Allelujah was able to eject the GN Drive and ensure its safe return to Celestial Being, but both he and the Gundam were captured by the HRL, which studied the captured mobile suit in an attempt to reverse engineer its many secrets. The Gundam Kyrios’ role was continued by its successor, the GN-007 Arios Gundam, piloted by Allelujah after he was rescued from prison in 2312.
