Celestial Being’s Gundam Meisters were scattered following a devastating attack by United Nations forces in 2308. Only Tieria Erde remained with the group afterward, and he assisted with the development of new mobile suits. The first new Gundam to roll out in 2312 was the GN-008 Seravee Gundam, the successor to his GN-005 Gundam Virtue. Whereas the Gundam Virtue consisted of heavy armor for a lighter mobile suit, the Seravee Gundam turned this concept around by having a lighter mobile suit docking with a heavy one. This lighter suit, the GN-009 Seraphim Gundam, could separate while the Seravee Gundam acted as unmanned attack unit powered by GN Condensers. One of the Seravee Gundam’s new features was Face Burst mode, which used its antennae to improve GN particle flow. Because of the Seravee Gundam’s heavy use of GN particles for its weapons, it received a dramatic performance boost when using Trans-Am as more GN particles were available for its use. However, the Seraphim Gundam was unable to initiate Trans-Am on its own after separating from the Seravee Gundam.

The Seravee Gundam inherited the Gundam Virtue’s role as an anti-ship/fortress unit and could take out multiple enemies at once with its overwhelming firepower. For close-range self-defense it carried two GN Beam Sabers in its forearms, with an additional four hidden inside its GN Cannons. In addition to the four GN Cannons, the Seravee Gundam was armed with a pair of combining GN Bazookas that could be used in multiple configurations. The two bazookas could combine with each other to create the Double Bazooka, which could open to fire in Burst Mode. The Double Bazooka could connect to a shoulder cannon to form the the Double Bazooka Cannon, or in Burst Mode the Double Bazooka Burst Cannon. The individual bazookas could combine with the shoulder cannons into Buster Cannons. The bazookas could also combine with the shoulder cannons as the Twin Buster Cannon. At the end of the conflict with the Innovades, the Seravee Gundam was heavily damaged while the Seraphim Gundam was destroyed. After merging with the quantum computer Veda, Tieria remodeled the Seravee Gundam into the GN-008RE Seravee Gundam II to support the new CB-002 Raphael Gundam.
