Gundam Sentinel 0079 is a short story released exclusively in Japan in 1990. Published in Model Graphix magazine, it is a prequel to Gundam Sentinel. Set during the One Year War in UC 0079, it focuses on two Earth Federation Forces pilots previously introduced in Sentinel. Some of Hajime Katoki’s mecha redesigns would become the basis for official variations featured in the 1991 OVA series Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory.
