The JMA0530(Model U) Wodom was one of the many suits that the Dianna Counter forces used in their mission to return to Earth. The Wodom’s main armament consisted of a powerful beam cannon, which could fire in short bursts (or longer if an external generator booster is attached). The beam cannon was powerful enough to destroy an entire city or even an Aspite ship in one hit. The Wodom was also equipped with missiles and anti-air vulcans. Due to the Wodom’s massive height of 40 meters, it was also quite effective in kicking and punching for close-range assaults. In case of explosive damage to the main body, part of it could be detached for safety. The armor was even strong enough to be able to stand up to the Militia’s airborne force without any damage at all. However, due to their size, Wodoms were rather ineffective against close combat mobile suits. The Wodom was the backbone of the Dianna Counter army, but it was also used by the Moonrace forces stationed on the space station Sackträger. One of the first units to be used on Earth was piloted by Pou Aijee, and her attacks on Inglessa led to the awakening of the ancient System-∀99 ∀ Gundam.
