The Minesweeper was a variation of a light spacecraft produced in large numbers by the Earth Federation Forces. The units loaned out to the Republic of Zeon featurec new equipment, including a nose-mounted sensor used for minesweeping operations. The addition of horizontal stabilizers and thrusters improvec the spacecraft’s mobility. In UC 0077, Garma Zabi and Char Aznable used a Minesweeper for space debris collection after a Salamis cruiser crashed into a space colony at Side 3. Multiple craft could operate together to create a large network for debris collection
