The PFF-X7II/N8 Nepteight Gundam was a custom Gunpla developed by the Diver Hiroto (aka Hiroto Kuga). The Nepteight Gundam was the configuration of the PLANETS System’s Neptune Armor mounted on the PFF-X7II Core Gundam II. Designed for space travel, the Nepteight Gundam took inspiration from the GSX-401FW Stargazer Gundam from the 2006 ONA series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73 STARGAZER. The Nepteight Gundam was equipped with the Stargazer Gundam’s “Voiture Lumiere” light propulsion system, in which cruising parts on the backpack connected to form a large torus that converted energy for propulsion. A by product of this system was the creation of a bright ring of light. The Nepteight Gundam was not designed for combat, but it carried two beam sabers and the cruising units on its arms could emit beam guns for self-defense. When the BUILD DiVERS needed to leave Eldora to confront the artificial being Alus in space, Hiroto finished the incomplete Neptune Armor. The team launched into space by holding onto the Nepteight Gundam and using the Ex Valkylander’s Avalanche Rex Buster beam cannon to provide energy to fuel the “Voiture Lumiere.” After narrowly breaking orbit, Hiroto ejected the Neptune Armor to prepare for combat.
