The RGM-89G Jegan Ground Type A was a ground combat mobile suit used by the Earth Federation Forces in the early UC 100s. Based on the ground combat A-Type, it featured searchlights on each shoulder, and different front skirt armor. The Jegan’s armaments included the standard vulcan pod system mounted on the head and three hand grenades. The suit also used a new backpack reminiscent of the old RX-79[G] Gundam Ground Type from the One Year War. A customized version, the RGM-89Gmh Jegan Ground Type A (Man Hunter) also saw use during the same time. In April UC 0105, the Jegan was deployed to assist with firefighting following a Mafty attack on the Filipino city Davao.
