The RGM-89Gmh Jegan Ground Type A (Man Hunter) was a customized ground combat mobile suit used by the Man Hunters of the Federation Criminal Police Organization, a law enforcement agency charged with tracking down and deporting illegal immigrants living on Earth. Based on the RGM-89G Jegan Ground Type A, the design was modified to suit Man Hunter’s purposes of intimidating civilians. Searchlights were added to each shoulder, and a manned 12.7mm anti-personnel machinegun turret nest was mounted on the waist underneath the cockpit hatch. The Jegan’s only other armament was a vulcan pod system mounted on the head. Front armor and weapons were removed, and new skirt armor was added to the rear of the suit. The suit also used a new backpack reminiscent of the old RX-79[G] Gundam Ground Type from the One Year War. In April UC 0105, the Man Hunter Jegan was deployed to the streets of the Philippine city Davao for a routine inspection and roundup of illegal immigrants.
