The Squid class battleship was designed by the Zanscare Empire to serve as the control and defense unit for the Keilas Guilie attack satellite. Like several other classes of Zanscare ship, the Squid featured dual bridges and launch catapults on the top and bottom of its body. With a length of 656 meters, the Squid class was one of the longest battleships ever fielded. Its armaments included eight main guns and eight multi-launchers. In UC 0153, the League Militaire captured a Squid, which was disassembled and combined with the old Earth Federation Forces cruiser Reineforce to form the battleship Reineforce Junior. Only two Squid class ships were built, with the other fielded by Zanscare throughout the rest of the war.
