Introduced in UC 0061, the Type 61 Tank was the main battle tank used by the Earth Federation Forces. The Type 61 underwent various upgrades throughout its service life. The Model A2 was an early version that featured a satellite link system to share target data with other friendly units during battle. The Model A2’s main armament was its dual cannon. It was deployed to the Autonomous Republic of Munzo in Side 3, often in concert with the RTX-65 Guntank Early Type for security enforcement. The Model A2 was used in Side 3 as late as the Dawn Rebellion in UC 0077. The Model A2 was also used for riot suppression by the Loum Defense Force at Side 5.
