The VF-25S Armored Messiah was the Armored Pack-equipped version of the VF-25S Messiah. Compared to earlier generations of Armored systems for variable fighters, the implementation on the VF-25S allowed it to fully transform between Battroid, Fighter and GERWALK modes. In addition to the armor mounted across the VF-25F’s body, the APS-25A/MF25 Armored Pack stored extra fuel for bursts of added thrust. The pack also mounted enhanced communications systems and a compound sensor antenna, plus additional sensors on the nose. To compensate for the extra heat it generated, the pack mounted four armored heat sinks on the engine pods. Additional armaments included four 22mm beam machine guns, a pair of beam turrets, two micro-missile CIWS launcher pods (with 116 missiles total), two micro-missile launcher pods (with 128 missiles total) and a pair of 15-tube launcher pods (30 rockets total).
