The VF-25S Messiah was a team leader variant of the standard VF-25 Messiah variable fighter. For its role as a team leader unit, the VF-25S featured enhancements across every system, including higher engine output, improved communications and an assistant AI with battle tactic command programs. The VF-25S’ armaments included two pairs of 12.7mm beam guns, a 5-barrel 58mm Gatling gun pod, a bulletproof shield, a pair of machine guns (or beam machine guns), an assault knife, and a pinpoint barrier system. Its six underwing hardpoints could mount anti-ship reaction missiles or other equipment. The VF-25S could add to its arsenal by mounting Super or Armored Packs. SMS Skull Squadron leader Ozma Lee piloted a VF-25S during the Vajra War in 2059.
