The XXXG-01Wfl Gundam Fenice Liberta was a custom Gunpla created by Ricardo Fellini. It was an upgraded version of his earlier XXXG-01Wfr Gundam Fenice Rinascita. The Liberta modified the transformation system by reincorporating the Meteor Hopper ground vehicle concept from Fellini’s original XXXG-01Wf Wing Gundam Fenice. In place of the Rinascita’s Bird mode, the Liberta could transform into the ground use Meteor Hopper mode. The Liberta retained the Rinascita’s armaments and added three beam tires, which could be used both offensively and defensively. When the Gunpla Mafia set a trap for Sei Iori and his friends in the new Yajima Stadium, Fellini engaged in battle and beat former Gunpla fighter Gawain Oakley. He was then attacked and caught off guard by Gunpla Mafia leader Mikio Mashita, who used Sei’s stolen GAT-X105B/CM Build Strike Gundam Cosmos.
