The XXXG-01Wfr Gundam Fenice Rinascita was a custom Gunpla built by Ricardo Fellini. It was the upgraded version of his earlier XXXG-01Wf Wing Gundam Fenice, which was inspired by the TV series New Mobile Report Gundam Wing. After the Fenice was heavily damaged in a Gunpla Battle against the NMX-004 Qubeley Papillon, Fellini conducted repairs and upgrades. The Rinascita completely overhauled the design by restoring the Wing Gundam’s Bird mode that was removed from the Fenice and eliminating the Meteor Hopper support craft. The Rinascita retained the Fenice’s buster rifle custom and added a shield (with beam saber) and extra beam mantle. Fellini used the Rinascita to aid in his friends in stopping the Arista crystal that caused damage to the PPSE stadium. Later, he further modified the Gunpla into the XXXG-01Wfl Gundam Fenice Liberta.
