The XXXG-01Wf Wing Gundam Fenice was a custom Gunpla built by Ricardo Fellini of Italy. It was based on the XXXG-01W Wing Gundam from the 1995-96 anime TV series New Mobile Report Gundam Wing. The Fenice was heavily customized from its original anime version, with the right wing, right shoulder armor and Bird mode transformation feature removed. In place of the Bird Mode, Fellini created a support craft called the Meteor Hopper that functioned like a motorcycle on the ground or as a sub-flight system in the air. The Fenice’s armaments included a buster rifle custom, beam rapier, machine cannons, vulcan guns, a beam gun and the defensive beam mantle. During the 7th Gunpla Battle World Championship, Fellini was eliminated after losing a battle to Aila Jyrkiäinen’s NMX-004 Qubeley Papillon. As a result of the extensive damage to the Fenice, Fellini remodeled the Gunpla into the upgraded XXXG-01Wfr Gundam Fenice Rinascita.
