When ZAFT introduced the ZGMF-1000 ZAKU Warrior as part of its New Millennium series mobile suits, it created various Wizard packs to adapt the suit to various environments and combat situations. Once such pack was the EX-AAL Noctiluca Wizard used by the ZGMF-1000/AAL Noctiluca ZAKU Warrior. The Noctiluca Wizard included two ducted fans and two skid plates for propulsion over the water’s surface at a speed exceeding 50 knots. The skid plates housed torpedoes, depth charges and sonar receivers. Also, the shoulder sockets and head fin were replaced. In addition to the armaments stored on the skid plates, the ZAKU also carried standard hand grenades and a beam assault rifle.
