The ZGMF-56E2/γ Blast Impulse Gundam Spec II was an upgraded version of the ZGMF-X56S/γ Blast Impulse Gundam fielded by ZAFT during the Second Bloody Valentine War. Due to a new battery altering the voltage when Variable Phase Shift (VPS) armor was activated, the Spec II’s colors changed from white with black and green highlights to varying shades of green. The Spec II’s armaments were unchanged from its original version and included high-energy long-range beam cannons, hyper-velocity rail cannons, 4-tube missile launchers and a pair of beam javelins.
