Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM is a feature film that released in Japan in 2024. Directed and co-written by Mitsuo Fukuda, the movie’s staff includes many returning members from previous SEED projects, including character designers Kunio Okawara and Kimitoshi Yamane, character designer Hisashi Hirai and composer Toshihiko Sahashi. Originally announced in 2006, the film encountered long delays due to the illness of writer Chiaki Morosawa, who died in 2016. Set in C.E. 75, the story focuses on the peacekeeping organization COMPASS, whose members include Kira Yamato, Shinn Asuka and other returning characters from previous series. The organization faces a new threat to peace from the rogue nation called Foundation.
