As Tekkadan prepared for the last leg of its journey to escort Kudelia Aina Bernstein to Edmonton, Canada, the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos (5th Form) was upgraded to the 6th Form. The 6th Form mounted tail boosters in place of the side skirt armor, added new chest armor and replaced the damaged shoulder armor with new parts from an EB-06r Graze Ritter. The 6th Form retained the 5th Form’s armaments of the autocannons, wrench mace and long sword. After finally reaching Edmonton, Mikazuki engaged in a fierce battle with Ein Dalton’s massive EB-AX2 Graze Ein. The large experimental mobile suit inflicted substantial damage to the Gundam Barbatos, and Mikazuki pushed his Alaya-Vijnana connection to the limit in his effort to defeat Ein. Although Mikazuki emerged victorious, by exceeding the safety limits of the Alaya-Vijnana System, he permanently lost function of his right eye and arm. After having endured such heavy damage, Tekkadan sent the Gundam Barbatos to Teiwaz’s Saisei command ship, where it was extensively overhauled and upgraded into the Gundam Barbatos Lupus.
