The EDM-GA-01 Gundam Lfrith Ur was a prototype mobile suit developed by the Ochs Earth Corporation for the anti-Spacian resistance organization Dawn of Fold. It was based on the older XGF-01 Gundam Lfrith Pre-Production Model, but nearly every aspect of it was new aside from the GUND Format base components. The Lfrith Ur’s capabilities were geared toward short sorties, and its power surpassed that of many standard mobile suits. Its armaments included a beam Gatling gun, beam vulcan guns, beam sabers and a phased array cannon that could fire powerful high directivity beams. The cannon, in conjunction with the GUND Format, allowed for wide-range attacks and had additional functions that could be unlocked with a higher Permet score. The suit could also equip an optional large beam cutting unit. In A.S. 122, the Lfrith Ur was assigned to Sophie Pulone, who operated as a team with EDM-GA-02 Gundam Lfrith Thorn pilot Norea Du Noc. After attacking Plant Quetta, Sophie and Norea infiltrated the Asticassia School of Technology and later attacked the school during the Rumble Ring duel event. Sophie, who had become fixated on fighting Suletta Mercury, engaged in a duel with the XVX-016RN Gundam Aerial Rebuild and pushed her Permet score to the limit (and her ultimate demise). The school recovered the suit and it was later briefly piloted by Elan Ceres (aka Enhanced Person Number 5).
