The GNZ-007 Gaddess was a GNZ series mobile suit created for Anew Returner, an Innovade sleeper agent sent to infiltrate Celestial Being and steal data on its technology. As Anew was not a combat type Innovade, the suit was equipped with remote weaponry to reduce the chances of direct combat. The suit’s basic performance was on par with the GNZ-003 Gadessa and GNZ-005 Garazzo, but was lowered due to its pilot’s lower combat capability. Like the Gadessa, the suit had a line sensor on the forehead and received backup from Veda. The GN Beam Saber Fangs were the suit’s main weapons. The Fang generated a beam blade from the slit at its tip, while the other slits contained GN verniers for maneuvering and propulsion. The physical blade of the GN Heat Saber was heated to improve cutting capability. As the GN Heat Saber contained the control antenna for the GN Beam Saber Fangs, its destruction would reduce the Fangs’ control range and the amount of Fangs that could be controlled. The Gaddess was used in battle in 2312 after Ribbons Almark “activated” Anew and forced her to return with the stolen data. Gundam Meister Lockon Stratos found himself unable to kill Anew due to his love for her, and the Gaddess was ultimately destroyed by Setsuna F. Seiei’s GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser.
