Gundam ZZ Ep. 14: The Phantom Colony (Part 1)

The Argama is still docked at La Vie en Rose for repairs. Emary grabs onto Bright and explains that they are running low on food and supplies. On the bridge, Torres monitors fake meteorites that are flooding the area. Iino also analyzes the scans and finds a large meteorite covering up an old colony. Emary has a look at it and says that it must be an old abandoned colony made during the early days of colony construction. Out of nowhere, a woman sends a message from the colony. She identifies herself as being one of the Followers of Light from Moon Moon and asks the Argama to come visit them. The Argama disengages from La Vie en Rose and heads over to Moon Moon for supplies. After docking inside the harbor, ninjas attack the ship and board it. They panic when they see the ZZ Gundam and think it is an evil giant god. The Moon Moon representative wants to blow up ZZ Gundam, but Judau says that would cause a lot of damage. Elle suggests that Judau do it himself, so he goes to the control room to disassemble ZZ Gundam. As Bright and the others are about to leave, several men knock out Judau and take him away. The Moon Moon representative takes Bright and the others into the colony, which is overgrown with forests and has Aztec-like buildings. Nearby, Chara, Gottn, Beecha and Mondo meet with Role, the high priest of Moon Moon. Chara wants to have a look at the colony, and Gottn orders Beecha and Mondo to accompany her. They hide when they see Judau in a cart with a girl named Rasara Moon. Judau recognizes Chara, and Rasara’s men grab her. Bright and the others meet with Role, and he says he wants to use their ship to spread their message of peace to the Earth Sphere. When Bright learns that the Endra is docked too, a woman from behind a curtain says they are looking for the Savior and don’t know what ship he’s on.

Mondo eavesdrops as Rasara talks with Judau and Chara. Rasara says she hopes Chara will understand because she is beautiful. Rasara says that the Followers of Light want to spread their message to the Earth Sphere, but wars have always been fought outside of Moon Moon. She thinks that if people from Moon Moon leave that their peace will be destroyed. Judau asks Chara to help him get Leina from the Endra. Gottn wonders how he can get Chara back, so he decides to use Leina as a hostage since Glemy isn’t around. He orders Beecha to tie her up to a Gaza-C, but Beecha thinks that is too severe. Leina is tied up to the Gaza, and Beecha steals the R-Jarja to follow her. As Leina cries out for help, Judau senses her presence. Gottn and his soldiers arrive at the temple to seize control of it. The Gaza squad lands nearby, and Judau sees Leina. Rasara’s men begin to worship the Gazas as Catol, and Chara explains to Judau that Catol is the local god. Gottn enters the temple and tells Role to hand over Chara, or he will take control of the colony. Chara gets the attention of a Gaza and takes the suit. Judau reminds her to rescue Leina, but he thinks she is a bit weird. Roux launches in the Neo Core Fighter, followed by Iino in the Core Top and Elle in the Core Base. Chara calls Gottn and tells him to release Leina, but she doesn’t remember why. She begins to attack the ZZ Gundam components wildly. Beecha crashes the R-Jarja nearby, and Chara switches over to it. Roux gives the Neo Core Fighter to Judau, and he docks with the other pieces to form ZZ Gundam. He asks Chara where Leina is, and she attacks him. He tries to break away from her and sticks his hyper beam saber through the R-Jarja. Chara escapes in the cockpit pod just as it explodes. The people of Moon Moon believe Judau is their Savior, and the woman behind the curtain asks Judau for a favor. He tosses away the curtain and thinks it is Rasara, but the woman introduces herself as Sarasa Moon, the leader of Moon Moon.
