Armored Trooper VOTOMS: Big Battle (aka Battle of the Heterogeneous Species) is a one-shot OVA released in Japan in 1986. It is the second sequel produced for the Armored Trooper VOTOMS TV series. The production staff from the TV series returns for this OVA interquel, set between the main action and epilogue of the final TV episode. The story focuses on Chirico Cuvie and his friends, who are drawn into a battle with Radaa Niva, the Balarant version of a Perfect Soldier. The OVA has been released on home video in North America by Sentai Filmworks’ Maiden Japan label.
