Summary

Following the battle with Jerid, the Argama docks at Von Braun's port for repairs. Shinta and Qum ask Fa to take them to Armstrong Park, but she says she is too busy. Kamille and Astoniage tell her to take them before the ship leaves, but she says she can't because she has things to do. The kids tell Torres they're going outside. In space, Sarah leads a small squad of Hambrabi mobile suits with the Messala. She lands near Von Braun and takes a box with clothes into the city. As Kamille writes in his journal, Fa visits him and says she can't find the kids. She remembers they mentioned Armstrong Park, so the two of them head for Von Braun to find them. Sara walks through the streets and feels pressure when she sees Kamille. She hides in a dress shop, and he has a Newtype reaction. He approaches the dress shop, and Fa tells them they have to find the kids. Sarah walks through Von Braun and heads for the port. She enters a restricted area and knocks out a guard. She plants a bomb inside a pipe. Kamille looks at the Apollo 11 capsule, and when he feels pressure he wonders if Four is nearby. He spots Sarah and chases after her. He asks her what she is doing, and she says she wanted to talk to him, but was afraid. They talk, and he asks her why she doesn't do normal things like talk to friends and eat ice cream. She says she can't, and he buys her ice cream, to Fa's dismay. She remembers that Sarah was the girl who came to the Argama, and Kamille says he is worried. Sarah tells him there is nothing he can do because she met Scirocco first. He says that because of her, Katz lost trust in people. Kamille warns her that if he ever sees her again, be it in the city or in space, he will kill her.

Kamille walks away, and Sarah tells him it's dangerous to go back to the Argama. He asks why, and she tells him she planted a bomb at the port that will detonate in thirty minutes. He grabs her and runs to the park's control room, where he pages Fa. He tells her about the bomb and asks her to warn Bright and have him evacuate the Argama and the park. Kamille takes Sara with him to defuse the bomb. Fa returns to the Argama and tells Bright about the bomb. Kamille opens the plumbing pipe and finds the bomb. He tries to grab it, but he knocks it out of place and it falls down the pipe. Sarah tries to run away, but he grabs her and knocks her out. He says that if he has to die, she's going to die with him. The citizens of Von Braun abandon the park and escape to the emergency shelters. Kamille walks through the abandoned park, and Apolly picks him up with the Rick Dias. The Argama escapes just before the bomb detonates and destroys the park and port. Astoniage tells Fa not to worry, but she believes that the kids were caught in the blast. The Hambrabis attack, and Kamille launches in the Zeta Gundam, followed by Fa in the Methuss and Apolly's Rick Dias. Sarah escapes from the room Kamille left her in and flies through space. Fa spots her and chases her. She is attacked by a Hambrabi, and Kamille asks her what she is doing. Sarah reaches the Messala, and Kamille tells her that if she's on Scirocco's side it will ruin her. The Hambrabis and Messala retreat, and the battle ends. Fa asks Astoniage if they will get any repairs, and he says they will have to do them during the operation. She returns to her room and finds the kids in the shower with Haro. She asks them why they hid, and they explain they didn't want to leave them. The Argama prepares to find the ship that left from Axis.

Commentary

This episode was a good change of pace. Instead of mecha battles taking priority, we have a bit of a suspense story. It's good to see Kamille doing some other things aside from fighting. It looks like Scirocco has great charm, because Sarah is genuinely convinced he is a kind man. Of course he is. And the Titans are a nice Bible study group. Even though Sarah obviously adores Scirocco, she hesitates during this episode. If she planted the bomb in secret, why did she go and tell Kamille about it? If she hadn't said anything, she could have killed him and destroyed the Argama. I really don't care much for Shinta and Qum, because all little kids in Gundam series are annoying. I almost with they did die, but unfortunately they stick around and survive to Gundam ZZ.
