Elle tells
Torres that she and Judau saw Cecilia talking to Gottn at the pizza
shop. Cecilia begins to cry and says she didn't take any pictures
of anything. Torres tells Judau to find Bright and ask him about
how to punish Cecilia. Cecilia breaks down into tears and asks Torres
if she will be arrested. He hugs her and says that if she tells
the truth he will plead with Bright to be lenient on her. Gottn
is unhappy with the failure of Creyue and Nel, and he is informed
that the ships damaged at Granada want compensation. Gottn pay them
and has an idea, so he buys them. Bright and Roux go to the brig
and tell Chara that she will be transferred off the ship. Chara
says she doesn't want to go and tries to charm Bright into letting
her stay. Judau and Elle come to the brig and explain that Cecilia
is a spy for Gottn. Chara accidentally says that if Gottn destroys
Granada it can't be used as a base by Haman. Bright receives a call
from the bridge about enemy mobile suits and Torres brings Cecilia
over. Chara runs out of the brig and takes Cecilia as her hostage.
She goes to the mobile suit hangar and steals the Mk II. Beecha,
Mondo and Iino try to stop her, but she threatens them with an uzi.
After leaving the ship, she is followed by Judau and Double Zeta.
Torres, Beecha and Mondo follow as well. In space, Gottn has the
ships he bought crash into every space gate to block the Argama's
exit. Judau goes back to the ship to get the double beam rifle.
The Mk II gets stuck in a narrow passage, and Chara goes on foot.
Torres catches up with her and knocks her out. Cecilia runs away,
and he chases her. Chara wakes up and steals a car. She drives down
a tunnel and ends up at Anaheim Electronics. Gottn gives Cecilia
tickets on a passenger ship and a briefcase of gold as payment.
He tells her not to open it where it can be seen. Cecilia gets off
the passenger ship when she sees Torres drive up.
Cecilia
tells Torres that she has a ticket and wants him to come with her.
He slaps her and asks if she wants to see everyone on the Argama
die. She tells him that she lied to Gottn and told him that the
ship was docked at port 33. Torres says that even then innocent
people at that port are in danger. He tells her that she is selfish
and should be happy with her family, but she says they are a burden.
Torres gets into his car and drives away. Cecilia boards the ship,
and it begins to leave port. Judau arrives on the Moon's surface
and spots Creyue and Nel in a Ga-Zowm and a Gaza-D. Creyue and Nel
realize that the Argama was not where Cecilia said it was,
and they tell Gottn they have no ships left to crash. He tells them
to use the ship that Cecilia is on. Judau attacks Creyue and Nel,
but they use the passenger ship as a shield. The Argama tries
to leave Granada, but Creyue and Nel have steered the passenger
ship over the gate to block the Argama. Bright tells Judau
to move the passenger ship with Double Zeta. Inside the passenger
ship, the briefcase is dropped and reveals a bomb. Cecilia grabs
the briefcase and heads to a locker room filled with normal suits.
Judau uses his hyper beam saber to slice apart the Gaza and kill
Creyue. Cecilia puts on a normal suit and says to herself that she
won't be a coward anymore. She leaves the ship and grabs onto Nel's
Ga-Zowm. Gottn tells him to return to his ship, and Judau follows
Nel. He spots Cecilia on the Ga-Zowm's leg and tells her to get
off. Gottn has the bomb activated, and the timer counts down as
Nel approaches his ship. Cecilia tells Judau that if she stops,
Torres will hate her. Gottn's ship begins firing at Judau, which
prevents him from getting closer. Nel lands on the ship, and the
bomb counts down to zero and explodes. The Ga-Zowm is destroyed,
along with the ship and Gottn. Torres thinks to himself that Cecilia
is safe now. Judau cries and wonders why Cecilia did what she did.
Wow, what
a stark contrast this episode is to what we've seen before. There's
a tad bit of comedy at the beginning, but based on what happens
at the end, this is probably the last comedy we'll see for a long
time. Though Cecilia is a weak person, one can sympathize with her
problems, but it doesn't excuse the way she endangered people. Her
decision to sacrifice herself at the end is quite a powerful act
for such a weak-willed person. Gottn also meets his end here, and
I'm glad to see it. Though he was presented early on as a comedic
lackey, he's proved many times that he's a dangerous and ruthless
person. However, he was also incompetent, so that took away a bit
from his ruthlessness. With Gottn and his goons out of the way,
it looks like a confrontation with Haman is coming up next.
