The Argama
flies over Africa to hide from Haman's forces. Astonaige brings
the Double Zeta parts inside the ship, and Judau refuses to get
out of the Neo Core Fighter. Mondo and Beecha begin repairs to the
Hyaku Shiki and Mk II because they are filled with sand. Elle and
Roux argue about Judau because Roux thinks he needs to stop mourning
Leina and keep fighting. Roux doesn't think Judau can be a full
Newtype yet if he's so consumed in his emotions. She wants to talk
to him, but Beecha tells her that everyone needs to be left alone
sometimes. Roux tries to force Judau to come out, and Ple tells
her to let him come out by himself. She says if she doesn't get
him out he will stay in there forever. Roux pushes Ple aside and
opens the hatch. Judau mumbles Leina's name, and Roux tells him
he has to bear Leina's death and keep fighting to correct the injustice.
He tells her to leave him alone, and she says that she rated him
too highly. Judau tries to run away, and Astonaige tackles him so
that he doesn't do something wrong. Elsewhere, the Sadalahn,
Mindra and Sandra fly over Africa. Haman tells Glemy
that they have to prevent the Argama from teaming up with
Karaba. She says that she has the Titans under control and will
leave the AEUG to him. Astonaige brings Judau to the bridge, and
he says no one understands him. Ple tells him she can't replace
Leina but would like to be his sister anyway. On the Sandra,
Glemy and August decide to attack El Golea to find out about a Karaba
base. August hopes that Glemy is a fool so that he can gain Haman's
favor. August's Dreissen squad takes off, followed by Glemy's Bawoo
modules. Beecha asks Roux how she treat Judau the way she does,
and he tells her she can never understand since she's not from Shangri-La.
A call comes in about Glemy's attack, and Roux steals the Neo Core
Fighter and takes off.
Beecha takes
off in the Hyaku Shiki, followed by Mondo in the Mk II and Elle
in the Zeta Gundam. Judau decides to fight and tells Astonaige it's
better than just sitting in his room. He takes off in the Core Top,
followed by Iino in the Core Base. Roux approaches El Golea and
finds it under attack by August's Dreissens. She dodges their fire
and is joined by the rest of the Gundam Team. Beecha decides that
since Glemy loves Roux he will use her as a shield. He and Mondo
both try to grab the Neo Core Fighter, but Roux evades them. She
spins out of control, and Beecha manages to grab her. He tells Glemy
that she is inside the Neo Core Fighter and that he'd better not
fire. Glemy docks his Bawoo modules and lands on the ground. Beecha
knocks him down and presses the Neo Core Fighter up against the
Bawoo. Roux doesn't want to be a shield, so she gets out of the
Neo Core Fighter and runs away. While Glemy is distracted, Beecha
sticks his beam saber in the Bawoo's torso. Glemy gets out and tries
to speak to Roux, but she gets back into the Neo Core Fighter and
escapes. The Bawoo explodes, and Beecha and Mondo laugh at Glemy's
failure. Bright calls the Gundam Team and tells them to proceed
to El Golea immediately. Judau and Iino fly over the city, and Judau
looks at the civilian casualties. He becomes angry, so he and Iino
attack the Dreissens. When the Gundam Team approaches the city,
August and his remaining forces retreat. The Gundam Team stays behind
to extinguish the fires burning across the city. On the Argama,
Bright says he is more concerned about the Neo Core Fighter than
he is about Roux running off. As Roux flies over the desert, she
hopes Judau doesn't become a victim of his own sorrow.
In the aftermath
of Leina's death, we see that things are a bit different now. Judau
is filled with grief, and Roux is very cold to him. While I agree
with her point that he must move on, she is too insensitive considering
what just happened. Everyone else seems to see this also. Given
the situation, I don't see what reason Roux has to leave the ship
on her own when there is a battle. It's quite a childish thing to
do, especially since Roux is older than the rest of the Shangri-La
bunch. Glemy's attraction to Roux causes him more trouble, and this
time it leaves him stranded in the desert. It will be interesting
to see how he gets out of this situation.
