Technical and Historical Notes

The HL-97 Bulldog is a construction labor produced by Hishii Heavy Industries. The Bulldog uses an airplane-style canopy cockpit that gives its pilot a wide field of view. Through the use of optional equipment, the Bulldog can perform underwater work at depths of up to 10 meters. As Hishii's best-selling labor, the Bulldog is frequently utilized in the construction of the Babylon Project and at other sites across Tokyo. Because of its popularity, the Bulldog is frequently stolen and used in labor crime. When the Tokyo police's SV2 labor unit deploys to the Ark factory to thwart a plan to cause all the city's labors to go berserk, many Bulldog units activate on their own and attack the police.
