The Destiny Gundam 1/144 scale, what more could you ask for? Shinn’s second Gundam, embodying the powers of all three Impulse modes.

Head

The head is very simple, plain 1/144 construction. Still retains the mean look that Destiny always had in the anime.

Torso

The torso of Destiny stays true to the anime also. Gives you stickers if you don’t like to paint. The joints for the shoulders are great seeing how they allow you to bring the arms together so you can hold the anti-ship sword with both hands.

Arms

They are very nice, they give you maximum pose ability with little effort. Most of the old arms, you could barely move the shoulders but now you can move them a full 30-45 degrees. (depends on where the flash boomerangs are) Gives you three sets of hands, one standard hands, another set of hands like the standards but they extend longer at the joints to allow for more poseability, and lastly the Destiny palms.

Legs

Well designed to hold the whole model with the Wings of Light gimmick attached. The knees are double jointed so you can pose them better. Lately the legs are taking on the same concept throughout the newer models.

Weapons and Accessories

RQM60F Flash-Edge 2 boomerangs- They fit into the shoulder nicely and don’t fall out. When you do take the out, you can put either the boomerang blade on or the longer beam sword-like blade on it. Only problem is only one of each blade so you can do double boomerangs or double beam swords.

MMI-X340 "Palma Fiocina" palm beam cannon-  There really is no need to explain much here. It’s the hands of Destiny. He grabs your face and it blows up.

Shield- There are two main pieces to the shield. The bottom half of the shield is one whole piece that is movable. There is a peg at the back and two holes on the top half of the shield. It must be detached to form the opened shield. The peg seems flimsy. Don’t trust it much. Stickers are used if you don’t like to paint.

MA-BAR73/S high-energy beam rifle- A basic beam rifle. Has an articulated secondary handle seen in the HG Aile Strike Gundam. Also, the sensor piece can swivel side to side and it actually has a small hook where it will lock into place. So when you place the beam rifle into the back, the sensor won’t move.

M2000GX high-energy long-range beam cannon- Can unfold and fold back up into the backpack of the Destiny unit. Posing the beam cannon can be somewhat difficult seeing how Destiny’s Wings of Light may get in the way. Also the handle seems like it could fall off very easily.

MMI-714 "Arondight" anti-ship sword- The coolest weapon of this unit, this huge sword will probably make Destiny the meanest Gundam on your shelf. Unfolded, it’s at the height of the Destiny Gundam. You can pose it with one or both hands and do many of the poses from the anime which is great.

Wings of Light- This will really give the Destiny model some real feel to it. Molded in pink clear plastic but has glitter to give it this shine. With the anti-ship sword you can really make some great poses with this Gundam.

Conclusion

With the 1/144 stand, this model will really out-do all your other 1/144
SEED models. Takes minimal effort to pose this guy and you have so many options with so many weapons. The Destiny Gundam is a must have in your Gundam SEED DESTINY collection.
