Technical and Historical Notes

The Cornelius class ship Re.H.O.M.E. served as a base of operations for the crew of the former Junk Guild ship H.O.M.E., which was destroyed after crash landing on Earth. Like the H.O.M.E., the Re.H.O.M.E. was equipped with several crane arms for salvage operations. In addition it was equipped with two large detachable shields on its aft portion. The Re.H.O.M.E. was built on the Orb Union’s neutral space colony Heliopolis alongside the new Earth Alliance battleship Archangel. The two vessels were designed to dock with each other to easily transfer supplies. After entering service, the Re.H.O.M.E. was involved in several battles against opponents such as Rondo Ghina Sahaku’s MBF-P01-Re<AMATU> Gundam Astray Gold Frame Amatsu and Ash Gray’s ZGMF-X11A Regenerate Gundam. After defeating Ash at the end of the war, Lowe Guele and his crewmates took possession of Ash’s secret base, the gamma-ray laser cannon GENESIS Alpha. In October C.E. 71, Lowe attached a booster to the Re.H.O.M.E. and used the energy from GENESIS Alpha to provide the ship with extra speed for its journey to Mars.
