The SD-237S Star Winning Gundam was a custom Super Deformed Gunpla built by Fumina Hoshino of team Try Fighters. It was the upgraded version of her earlier Gunpla, the SD-237 Winning Gundam. After being defeated in battle by Lady Kawaguchi, Fumina realized that the Winning Gundam tilted too much toward its support function and lacked its own fighting power. The Star Winning retained the same function of using modular Winning Road parts to power up the Gunpla used by Fumina’s teammates, Sekai Kamiki and Yuuma Kousaka. The biggest change to the Star Winning was that its modular parts could combine to transform the suit into a full-sized “real” Gunpla. In its real mode, the Gunpla could use a powerful energy attack called the Winning Beam. These modular parts could also combine with Sekai’s TBG-011B Try Burning Gundam and Yuuma’s LGZ-91Fb Lightning Gundam Full Burnern that allowed the Gunpla to keep fighting even after suffering damage. The Star Winning’s new armaments included four star funnels, which could also create a Plavsky power gate that boosted the power of ranged attacks. In the final battle of the tournament, the Try Fighters defeated team Celestial Sphere. For the next tournament, Fumina developed the New Winning Road that allowed her and Yuuma to power up Sekai’s KMK-B01 Kamiki Burning Gundam.
