Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Deleted Affair – Portrait of Young Comet is a manga series released exclusively in Japan from 2001-2009. Written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Kitazume, it was serialized in Gundam Ace magazine. The interquel series focuses on Char Aznable and Haman Karn and is set between the 1979 TV series Mobile Suit Gundam and the 1985 TV series Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam.Â
