Mobile Suit Gundam: Encounters in Space is a Sony PlayStation 2 video game released in Japan and North America in 2003. Developed by Bec and published by Bandai, it is a sequel to the 2000 3D action video game Mobile Suit Gundam: Journey to Jaburo. The game continues adapting the story of the 1979 TV series Mobile Suit Gundam and features a new side story focusing on the battleship Thoroughbred, which was adapted into the 2003 manga series Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: Space Beyond the Blaze. The game includes multiple bonus mobile suits from G Gundam, Gundam Wing and Gundam SEED.
