Mobile Suit Gundam MSV-R: The Return of Johnny Ridden is a manga series released exclusively in Japan from 2010-2023. It is a companion to the MSV-R original design series and features many of its mobile suits. Written by Ark Performance, it is serialized in Gundam Ace magazine. Set in UC 0090, the manga focuses on Johnny Ridden, a former Principality of Zeon ace pilot from the original 1983 MSV. An amnesiac Johnny, using the name Led Wayline, works as a pilot for the Federation Survey Service and eventually reckons with his lost past.
