Technical and Historical Notes
One of the Jupiter Empire's many mobile armors, the EMA-06 Elegolea could
possibly be the combination of all of the Jupiter Empire's mobile
weapon technology. Originally conceived as a Newtype mobile armor, the
Elegolea was later modified to test out the organic computer control
system, which would allow an organic "clone pod" to control it. The Elegolea was a variable mobile armor, capable of transforming from a more standard mobile armor into a gigantic mobile suit. Its main weapons were a trio of mega particle cannons, mounted in the mobile armor mode's "nose", which could also be used as a giant pile driver. The Elegolea's tail stabilizer mounted a beam cannon, as well as being usable for melee attacks. When transformed into its mobile suit mode, the Elegolea could wield a gigantic heat naginata which, when not in use, was carried by a Diona assigned as the mobile armor's bodyguard. One Elegolea was produced, which became the personal machine of Tetenith Dogatie (aka Bernadette Briette), Crux Dogatie's daughter. However, when she recognized Tobia Arronax and his XM-X3 (F97) Crossbone Gundam X-3, the Elegolea's organic computer system activated and continued fighting. Tobia managed to rip Bernadette's cockpit pod out before finishing the Elegolea off with his Muramasa blaster.
